Villa Katerini je tradiční kamenný dům (postaven v 17. století), opravdu prostorný pro rodinu nebo skupinu osmi osob, který se nachází pouhých 5 minut jízdy od Gaios v Paxos, klimatizovaný, s velkým soukromým bazénem a nabízí úžasný výhled na moře a pobřežní scenérie Jónského moře.

Popis ubytování
Tato klidná kamenná vila se nachází ve dvou podlažích.
Přízemí se skládá z otevřeného obývacího prostoru s posezením a jídelním koutem, plně vybavenou kuchyní, oddělenou pěkným kamenným pracovním pultem, rodinnou sprchou a třemi ložnicemi: Dvě z nich jsou vybaveny dvěma oddělenými lůžky (s vlastní sprchou a koupelnou) a třetí je vybavena manželským dvojlůžkem
V přední části tohoto prostoru je umístěn prostorný balkon s nádherným výhledem na moře, posezením a jídelním koutem a je zastřešen tradiční dřevěnou pergolou.
V zadní části je další posezení a jídelní kout s vestavěným grilem pro ty, kteří by si chtěli vyzkoušet své kuchařské dovednosti.
Vnitřním schodištěm se dostanete do čtvrté dvoulůžkové ložnice v horním patře, kde je také k dispozici koupelna se sprchovým koutem.

Bazén a terasy
Exteriérové kamenné schodiště vede z úrovně přízemí do nižší části, přímo k soukromému velkému bazénu, který je pěkně umístěn uprostřed slunných teras, odkud je nádherný výhled na Jónské moře a které jsou obklopeny tradičními kamennými zdmi.
Ideální poloha vily Katerini na ostrově Paxos, spolu s dech beroucími výhledy, krátkou vzdáleností od městečka Gaios s velkým množstvím taveren, restaurací a obchůdků, dělají z této klidné nemovitosti ideální místo pro všechny, kteří by chtěli prožít klidnou a nezapomenutelnou dovolenou.

General Information

Gaios is the capital of Paxos Island and the largest port, serving large ferries, hydrofoils and sea taxis from Corfu and Igoumenitsa.

As the largest town on the island, Gaios is relatively small and quaint, with Venetian architecture, a labyrinth of side streets, and pedestrian squares along the seafront. Restaurants and snack bars are scattered throughout the town, catering to all tastes and demands.

The surrounding olive groves offer a high standard of local Greek cuisine, a must-try for every visitor. Local amenities include a post office, banks, a chemist, a doctor's surgery, gift shops, a high school, jewellery and handmade craft shops, as well as supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers.

Gaios has a range of waterfront bars, ranging from quiet traditional coffee places to livelier bars playing a variety of music. Taxis are limited in number, and the bus service is regular, and it enables you to reach the resorts of Loggos and Lakka or smaller neighbourhoods.

Gaios is one of the most popular and cosmopolitan resorts in the Mediterranean. Hundreds of VIPs visit Gaios or reside in their private properties every summer, and finding a place to stay during the peak season can be challenging.

Delightful villa

Villa Katerini is a delightful place to stay - up in the hills close to restaurants and shops. It is not a glitzy villa but an old building which is charming. The pool is large and secluded. The villa has lots of outdoor spaces so you can eat with a view of the sea or in the courtyard, protected from sun and the wind. There are many quiet corners to sit quietly. 4 bedrooms and lots of space inside and outside. This was our second time and we will be back again.

This is a really lovely villa. We were a family of eight adults and it was spacious and accomdated us all well Paxos is a beautiful island and well worth a visit

Touch of Paradise" at Gaios Villa

Well where to begin... it was just a touch of paradise!!!Amazing view from the house, 3 terraces to enjoy either the sun or the shadow, a big swimming pool and the luxury to have a private bathroom in all the rooms. Coffee machines (one is Dolce Gusto compatible) and everything you need in the kitchen. Nothing more would be needed!The situation is perfectly located on a hill (car or scooter will be required) close to Gaios. But thanks for the great location, all the places are quickly reachable, that was perfect.There is an excellent restaurant close to the villa (5mn walking), called Restaurant Thymari. It was one of the best we did on the island. I could only recommend this place, the pictures you can see are not reflecting the truth. It's MUCH better!

Lovely Property with Ample Space and Character

Beautiful property, so much space and character with different entertaining areas to suit all age groups, lovely pool too..showers and mattresses need upgrading but other than that, it was fab
